If you're living in a state that's having a Sept. 14 primary, you're probably well aware of this fact. No doubt you've been showered with campaign ads, fliers and calls during the past month. Now, it's finally time to get out and vote!
The general election isn't until Nov. 2, but the primaries are just as important in many races. The National Organization for Women's Political Action Committee (NOW/PAC) has endorsed a number of strong feminist candidates this year -- both proven incumbents and exciting new challengers. With the Tea Partiers and other radical conservatives trying to turn back time in the halls of Congress, it's important that voters demonstrate convincing support for candidates who champion equal rights for all.
